Connecting to Email
Your AI agent can send and read emails from your Versors machine. This is useful for automating outreach, processing incoming emails, or building apps that send notifications.
Use a dedicated email
We strongly recommend creating a new email address for your agent rather than connecting your personal one. If you do connect your own email, you do so at your own risk.
Gmail Setup
Gmail requires an "app password" - a 16-character code that lets apps access your account without your real password. You need 2-factor authentication enabled first.
Make sure 2-factor authentication is enabled on your Google account.
Go to Google's app passwords guide and follow the steps to create an app password.
Copy the 16-character password.
Tell your agent: "Set up email access. My Gmail is name@gmail.com and the app password is xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx"

Revoking Access
To revoke your machine's email access, delete the app password from your Google account settings. This immediately prevents any further access.
